Ekta Chaudhary, India’s hope for Miss Universe 2009

For the Miss Universe 2009 contest the location chosen is Bahamas and the finale will be on 23 August 2009. Beautiful ladies representing 85 countries have arrived in Bahamas and are trying to understand the culture of the place while enjoying the amazing surroundings.

The 22-year-old Delhi girl Ekta Choudhary is all set to take the stage in the Miss Universe pageant. Standing 5 feet 9 inches, she is a perfect mix of Indian beauty and international style. She is confident enough to win the coveted crown.

For the month long pageant at the Bahamas, her wardrobe is being taken care of by designer Ritu Kumar who dressed Sushmita Sen and Aishwarya Rai for the pageants.

The Miss Universe 2009 competition will be broadcast live from ATLANTIS, Paradise Island, Bahamas on Sunday, August 23, 2009.
